Yes. Your scans are stored in encrypted cloud storage (Firebase / Google Cloud) — encrypted both in transit and at rest — so they stay backed up and synced. Text recognition (OCR) runs on-device, so the text of your documents is read on your phone rather than sent to a server. There are no ads or third-party ad SDKs, and we never sell your data. Yes — text extraction runs entirely on-device. No internet connection is required for OCR. Your documents are never sent to a server for text recognition.
The weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial. You won't be charged until day 4. We'll send a reminder in the app 1 day before your trial ends. After the trial, your subscription renews at $9.99/week until you cancel.
Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ScannerFlow → Cancel subscription. You can also go to Settings inside the ScannerFlow app and tap "Manage Subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Any copies already on your device stay accessible — canceling does not delete them. Your cloud-backed documents remain accessible for 90 days after cancellation, then are permanently deleted, so we recommend exporting anything important before then. You can export to PDF or JPEG at any time.

ScannerFlow exports to PDF (single-page or multi-page with a subscription) and JPEG. PDF is the default and the format most apps accept.
